Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to a website everyone can use.

RTA wants everyone to be able to plan a trip, check a fare or reach us online, whatever their ability or technology.

Our standard

This website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That includes:

  • A “Skip to main content” link and a logical heading structure on every page.
  • Menus, tabs, forms and accordions that work with a keyboard alone and announce their state to screen readers.
  • Text and controls that meet AA colour-contrast requirements, with visible focus indicators.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images, and labels on every form field.
  • Respect for your device’s reduced-motion setting.

Known limitations

Some documents linked from this site — such as route schedules, applications and meeting minutes — are PDFs that may not be fully accessible. If you can’t use one, ask us and we’ll provide the information another way.

Other formats

RTA will provide information in large print, audio or other formats on request. Please allow five business days.
